Renowned and well travelled chef, Nigel Hilton creates a traditional European Farmhouse menu that reflects the history and surroundings of the 600 year old pub. Where possible Nigel uses locally sourced produce, farmed using traditional & environmentally friendly methods, Try our Sunday roasts & savor the difference.

 

Nigel is a talented and reliable chef who, after many years of travelling the world has returned to his family village, Lamberhurst.

Nigel has experience of working in some of the most exclusive restaurants in Europe and spent many years in France and Italy honing his skills as a world class chef.

He travelled the world on many private yachts serving the rich and famous until he finally settled in Venezuela, where for eleven years he was head chef of his own French style restaurant.

Homesick at last, Nigel has returned to his family home in Lamberhurst with his wife and three children and eagerly awaits the opportunity to share his culinary skills with you.
